Our Severe Weather Shelter is currently closed.

SEVERE WEATHER SHELTER PROGRAM

severe weather sheltering is offered throughout the year during extreme cold, heat, and smoke events

This life-saving service provides a safety net

for those living out in the elements.

  • Please contact us at (425) 773-2874 to check the status of severe weather sheltering.
  • Priority is given to those who are most medically and/or physically vulnerable and are without a vehicle or other means of temporary shelter.
  • We can often accept canine friends, too, so long as they are tame and house-trained.
  • We are not licensed to shelter unaccompanied minors.  If you are a minor in need of shelter, please contact Friends of Youth.
  • We are unable to accept registered sex offenders.  If you are in need of shelter, please call 2-1-1.
