Severe Weather Shelter

Safety and shelter during extreme weather.

Reclaim’s Severe Weather Shelter program operates throughout the year during extreme cold, heat, smoke, and other dangerous weather events. This life-saving service provides a safe place indoors for individuals facing the elements and helps ensure that no one in our community is left without protection during hazardous conditions.

Our shelter offers a welcoming, low-barrier environment rooted in dignity, compassion, and safety.

Support Severe Weather SHelter

Extreme weather sheltering is only possible because of community support. Donations help provide motel stays, warm meals, cold weather supplies, transportation, hygiene items, and emergency resources for neighbors facing dangerous conditions.

Every contribution helps create safety, warmth, and dignity for those experiencing homelessness during weather emergencies.

Donate to Severe Weather Shelter

Severe Weather Shelter activation occurs in coordination with King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) and regional severe weather response guidance.
