We are currently looking for an experienced Grant Development Specialist who is highly focused on grant writing. Priorities for this position include researching and writing grant proposals, maintaining a grants calendar to monitor the application process and keep track of various deadlines. The Grant Development Specialist will also work in conjunction with the Board of Directors, Executive Director and other administrative staff to create and implement a development plan that details how the organization solicits donors and identifies funding sources such as grants, in-kind donations, charitable events, and marketing opportunities.
The role of Severe Weather Shelter Staff is to ensure the well-being of both clients and volunteers while overseeing regular routines in our severe weather shelter. Staff oversee all aspects of shelter operations while providing patient, respectful, compassionate, and empathetic support to our clients. Shelter Staff have a genuine concern for others, an ability to multitask and independently prioritize tasks along with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
