Dr. Alyssa DiRienzo grew up in Ohio. After graduating from college at the University of Vermont, she relocated to the west coast which has been home for the last 28 years. She graduated from the National University of Naturopathic Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon (1999) and additionally completed a residency in general family medicine. Dr. DiRienzo also pursued a year of post-doctoral study in women’s health through the Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine. During her medical school training, internship and residency she has provided healthcare at multiple clinics serving people experiencing homelessness and the underserved. Currently Dr. DiRienzo’s private practice, Sage Medicine, is located in North Bend, Washington and she has practiced in the Snoqualmie Valley since 2003. Additionally she served as adjunct clinical faculty for Bastyr University from 2003-2012. She also serves as a consultant for various nutraceutical companies and is on the scientific advisory board for NutraBiogenesis. She is a published author in the Naturopathic Doctor News and Review. As an active member of the community with a passion for wellness and health services, she has also served on the Board of Directors for Encompass.
Dr. DiRienzo loves to spend time with her husband Caley, her son Felix and her daughter Skylar. The family enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking and skiing. Dr. DiRienzo also enjoys paddleboarding throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
